Sustainability Statement
The Sustainability Statement summarizes key information about our company’s approach to environmental matters, social responsibility, and corporate governance (ESG). It provides a transparent overview of our activities, plans, and achievements in these areas. We have prepared this statement in recognition of the growing importance of sustainability and responsible business conduct—not only for our customers and partners, but also for our employees and the broader society. In doing so, we follow the European Sustainability Reporting Standards (ESRS), which offer a consistent framework for sustainability reporting in line with the requirements of the CSRD directive.

Although we are not legally required to report on our non-financial performance under the Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive, we are voluntarily publishing our Sustainability Statement for the second consecutive year. It has been prepared in accordance with the principles of the European Sustainability Reporting Standards (ESRS).

We believe that openly communicating the environmental, social and governance aspects of our business is not just a signal of credibility; it is a discipline that sharpens our decision-making and strengthens our long-term resilience. Approach to Sustainability
Integration of ESG into our strategies and processes.
We have long considered sustainability principles in our operations, but in 2024 we began systematically integrating them into all key activities – from strategic planning to daily operations. We established a dedicated internal team, initiated cooperation with external experts, and identified the areas where our impact is most significant. ESG topics have thus gradually become an integral part of our decision-making processes, corporate culture, and relationships with partners.

We focus on specific areas where we can actively and positively influence the world around us. We monitor and develop topics such as greenhouse gas emissions, energy efficiency, cybersecurity, equal opportunities, ethics, and responsibility within the supply chain. Each of these topics has been assessed through the lens of double materiality to establish clear priorities and targets.
Methodology and Framework
Standards, principles, and scope of reporting.
The Sustainability Statement has been prepared in accordance with the requirements of European legislation on non-financial reporting. We follow the ESRS, which provide a unified framework for reporting on sustainability activities in line with the CSRD directive. The document is based on the principles of transparency, relevance, and clarity to ensure it is valuable for all stakeholders.
The Sustainability Statement refers to the relevant calendar year and covers the activities of the entire Unicorn Systems group operating in the Czech Republic and Slovakia. In preparing the report, we conducted a double materiality analysis and collaborated with ESG specialists, who contributed to the professional accuracy and consistency of the data presented.
